cause they were getting too long
and begining to interfere with my texting
and typing
and mouse-clicking
and that's just plain mean

actually, i bit them off
[not cut]
in the shower
and washed them down the drain
[clog someday?]
although the trash can was right outside the shower
and very accessable to me
while in the shower
i still decided to wash them down the drain

silly me,
not chewing my nails off for a couple of weeks
and letting them get so bothersome

actually i feel kinda guilty
letting them have that little glimpse of length
[of freedom?]
their length wasn't entirelly their fault
and then bitting it all off
that was just plain mean
[of me]
[for teasing them]
[i mean]
